Supersize Me

Ok -I just watched this film and was shocked at the size of cola you guys get in Mcdonnalds over there. Not to mention the size of the booty walking in and out of the golden arches.

So I wanna know do you supersize? and if so is it really possible to drink that much soda?

Project-Shadow 02-17-2005 11:13 AM

I do super-size yes... but this is in the U.K supersized here is the equivelent of a medium/small in the U.S. It's not fair :(

Eric 02-17-2005 11:14 AM

I haven't eaten at McDonalds in about 10 years. I don't think I have ever supersized anything I can eat and that is still too much damn food. I don't drink soda either.

After Shock Media 02-17-2005 11:15 AM

A Mcdonalds soda is no larger than a BK, Carls Jr., Wendys, Jack in the box, KFC, Taco Bell, and so on's large soda. Hell actually I do think Jack in the box or Taco bell have the largest in the large category.
Yes it is drinkable, and yes it is mostly ice unless you ask for it different.

Though that film is utterly stupid and just puts one chain in a bad light. People really need to blame the fatass's that feel the need to live off of a fast food diet.

I don't think that the movie put the blame in one spot. The only reason McDonalds was chosen was because of the lawsuit by the two girls in NY. It was stated by a judge that if they could prove that by eating McDonalds everyday that there was a serious risk they could have won their case. So that was the only point that was being made there.

More importantly I think the most disturbing part of the film was the lunches that kids are served in school and the lack of guidence that is given on the meals that are eaten. I found it great that problem children were able to change their diet and see a difference in their behavior.

I do believe that people need to take responsability for themselves and not blame cigerettes for making them sick when they suck them down, or food for making them fat.

I know the story behind the film, though I do still think it does cast a pretty bad light on the Mcdonalds chain even though that was not their intention.

Yes it is very disturbing what is served in schools. I know the schools in our area have fast food options within them and I find that sad.

I agree! Everyone is so quick to point fingers at others and not take responsibility for their own actions! It doesn't take a genious to see that eating fast food every day will make you big and unhealthy. :(

Adultnet 02-17-2005 02:31 PM
