If you're not here to do business, then you don't really need sigs.

It can be argued that you can still get some business done without sigs, but honestly... I'd rather have them. I can see who is serious about what they're doing, who is and who isn't a surfer (for the most part) and well... if I want someone to look at my sig, I have to be prepared to look at theirs.

Some use the board for enjoyment... no need for a sig... some use it for business... sigs are a form of advertisement.

It's up to you.

You have to admit that it's hard to tell if a sig is worth any value these days with all the sigsales. People without a clue but with a hight postcount sell their addspace to the highest bidder wich imho brings down the true value of a signature ;)

Yeah, it's getting tougher... but still possible. In a way, it kind of works in reverse now... if I see a unique sig... something that's not in anyone else's posts, but looks decent, that's the one I check out.

If I see the same banner in 40 people's sigs, I don't need to check it out.

I have always had sigs on, its always good to see what's new and what people are promoting.
