The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

New trailer for the movie over at www.amazon.com

Wadda you recon?

Sam Rockwell is perfect, and the rest of it looks awesome. I've read some positive reviews from some very early test screenings so far.

I'm looking forward to it, I've read positive reviews of it too.

It's going to be awesome. If it's even half as good as the original, it will rock ass. I really should read the book. I hear it's even better.

I can't imagine that awesome book translating well to movie.....I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Very few books have made me laugh out loud, let alone bring me to tears with laughter. The Hitchhiker "trilogy" was non-stop side splitting laughter. If you like british humour, the "trilogy" is the shiznit. Martin Freeman as Arthur is an excellent choice. The trailer looks fantastic. Marvin the robot was my favorite character by far. Bender from Futurama kind of reminds me of Marvin.

Marvin's dialogue with Zem the mattress is classic.

How To Fly
? by Douglas Adams
There is an art, it says, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.

i'm excited to see this movie though i did hear a lot of criticism on it. :2 cents:

I can't wait to see it. It looks like a cross between Time Bandits and Space Balls.

I think I will pick up the books this week. I rarely take the time out for fiction but it seems this might be worthy.

I've read each book in the series atleast 3 times and always discover something new with it. I can't tell if the movie will be good or not, though.
