Women - Do you regret Feminism?

If I was a female, I'd want to go back in time and kill the woman (man?) who made this so-called idea of Feminisim...

I mean, why would I want to work? The ideal life as I see it, is to stay at home watching TV/gossip with your friends/raise your family/do what you love in your spare time and NOT a demanding career and working 9 to 5. The reason why I'm not doing it, is because I'm a man.

Seriously, you talk about burning your bras and being "free" and fulfilling yourselves, but when you got to the first date you want the male to pay for you. So why even bother? Don't you want the makes to do all the work for you while you can enjoys the goods of live?

lol good point...
some girls don't want you to pay for them though

But if you could be in the country club now instead of gfy, and let your spouse do all the work?

If you think that staying at home with a family is all about gossiping and watching TV, you've obviously never run a household before. :1orglaugh

I do regret that I don't have the same luxuries that my mom had. My father never had an expectation that she would work and contribute to the finances. She did do some work once my sister and I were in school full time. She was almost always home to greet us when we got home from school, but during the day she wanted something new to do so she got a job.

I wish that I didn't have the expectation put on me. I wish I still had the choice to be a stay at home mom without socieity expecting me to take care of kids, a house, a huge landscape and have a full time job. I have no idea how people get it all done because I always seem to be so far behind my to do list and I haven't even added kids to the equation yet!

I certainly would trade a life with one of those women who don't have to work and have money and time and are able to do things. I know I wouldn't be working in porn. I'd be doing something for charity instead.

Short answer... yes and no. Being a domestic goddess is a job as well... and a full time job at that.

Long answer... I'll write it later, it's lengthy hehe

Exactly!
So now you have to take care of the kids, the house and even get a job

I dont think 'feminism' is a bad thing, its just like with any other cause, some people take it to extremes. Equal rights & opportunities should exist regardless of gender, sexual preference, race, religion, etc. Sitting back and allowing our opportunities as females to be pigeon holed into 1 role (stay at home baby maker) is for those who want to build a compound & cut off their electric & live on the land. Sure I wouldnt mind staying home & raising a family for a few yrs, but unless I marry a guy who can support us during that time of luxury, then its not going to be possible. To be honest, I'd get bored, things should be 50-50. On a date, I have a hard time letting a guy pay for anything for me, and if at all possible I will at least try to pay the tip if he wont let me pay for my half. When my ex & I would go out, he'd pay for dinner, then i'd pay for the movies, or if we split dinner, then went to the movies, he'd buy the tickets & I'd pay for the popcorn & drinks and we'd share. I dont like to feel as if I'm inferior to a man or dependant upon anyone. if I'm not holding my own, then I'm not happy.

women are equal to and different from men.

feminism is america has mostly been a net loss not for women, but for children.

because if a woman has kids, and has to run off to work, she leaves her kids during the most important years of infancy to puberty.

and this has caused a lack of substance in many young adults today.

sorry, but i was the breadwinner, and i told my wife to stay home and take care of our babies.

and the result was very good.

there are lots of so-called liberated women sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring---and the guys with balls are NOT calling them.

we're not giving back the vote.

if feminism didn't exist i wouldn't be posting on gfy today. limiting women to content is old school and overrated, the sexy women are the one's behind the sites, who aren't sitting their booties gossiping with friends. :2 cents:

Because of all those early feminist is why women in thsi country have many liberties that other women around the world don't have. There are extremes to everything... :warning
