What if a sponsor doesn't pay??
 

I am looking to see what we can do to get a sponsor that refuses to pay (or pick up the telephone, or answer emails, or answer on icq, etc), to finally pay out the amount that he owes.

Do you have any experience with this? Any suggestions what we can do to get him to pay? Obviously there was nothing wrong with the traffic, or the conversions or anything. There is absolutely NO reason to withhold the money. The Billing company says that the payout to webmasters is beyond their control.

So, HELP! What can we do? Has anyone here ever sued a (billing) program to get their money and how did that turn out?

Seriously that is some fucked up shit, why not just post the dick head that wont pay, that will be fun and also let everyone know. If he is doing it to you, I am sure he will be doing it to everyone else also.

What does it matter who the processor is if the affiliate program is not paying their affiliates?

Yes, that's what the processor told me, that they can't pay out anything without the program owner signing for it. And yes, why should they care.

Ugh, this thread reminded me of boobdollars.com. They still havent payed me.

Do they pay any of their webmasters?

He aaron .. if they get mulitple complaints the processor can decide to shut down the services to that particular company, we run a billing solution our self and if people don't pay their webmasters we will warn them.

Best you can do (most of the times) is write is as loss and warn other webmasters :(

It really sucks. I had one that did not pay, and I kept sending emails and ICQ them (with different nicks) until they got tired of me and finally sent the payment. Then I stopped promoting them. I could tell who it was, but they went out of biz years ago, so it doesnt matter anymore.

I would say warning other webmasters is alfa omega. If they wont pay, why should they deserve to stay in this biz? There could be, and are, many reasons for not paying, but I think greed is the biggest.
