off topic - anyone good with EXCEL?
 

i need help before my accountant kills me!!

i need to make a spreadshet for trades, and im stuck on my P&L cell.

here is my cell assignments ...

E2 = POSITION
F2 = BUY PRICE (per share)
G2 = SELL PRICE (per share)
H2 = COMMISSION

what i need (without the excel code) is this: (((E2*G2)-(E2*F2))-H2)

i cant get it to work for anything! so let me step it out and maybe someone can help ...

step 1: PRODUCT(E2*G2)
step 2: PRODUCT(E2*F2)
step 3: SUM(step1 - step2)
step 4: SUM(step3 - H2)

total should be total profit or loss.

i know this is off topic, just hoping someone here can ehlp me! im really in a bind ...

i took a HUGE loss recently ...

i enterred TWR a swing trade at $1.08 for 7000 shares

by 2nd morning it declared BK and they locked trading, when it opened, it was below a penny and went up a bit, i ended up selling it all for .28

OMFG !!!!

i guess it happens right? just wish i didnt become a statistic on that one, lol

oh well .. ill make it back

shit i know...you can swing all over the [;ace//i have a friend that lost a fortune recently

id be crying..he takes it in stride though

i used to daytrade alot but i found the fees to high

now i can afford to do bigger trades...im trying to find roughly ten stocks to buy and sell weekly so i can make 60-90 bucks on each one..nothing crazy, just steady and easy charting
