Yes, we have been conducting an A/B test of a Flash-based version of the AdultFriendFinder.com main page.

Our findings indicate the Flash version IMPROVES performance.

As with most of the design, interface, technology and functionality choices we make for our sites, we don't make arbitrary changes that are not supported by real-world DATA.

In this case, the quantitative evaluation of our test results considered the installed base of Macromedia Flash in the various browsers. We determined that the loss due to Flash load-failure or increased load time was more than made up for in improvements to CTR and click-to-join.

However, any affiliates wishing to bypass the Flash home page, for the particulars of their own traffic, may do so by selecting one of the AFF Alternative Covers.

Flash is by far the most popular plug in on the net so i dont see the problem.

Yes i will back this up the flash on aff is converting better than the non flash !
Aff Is the master at tweaking their sites. They have the most insaine testing system i have ever seen. if they are making changes then you an be assured its beacuse it makes you and them more money !

how can it convert better???

Sometimes the fucking page wont load!!! Even if you click OK to approve it, it pauses for a long time and I just tested it on 56k dialup, it sucks!
