Is anyone encoding video "on the fly" from a single source yet?
 

I've been desperately trying to find information regarding this technology, but I guess it's not quite there yet.

What I'm talking about is realtime encoding of a single video source file on the fly for multiple distribution channels.

It would be nice not to have to prepare so many different formats and speed options ahead of time!

The free version of Windows Media Encoder has been offering this for years. I'm sure there are other programs out there that offer different formats as well.
