Was in the car about 15 min ago and Neal Boortz said he bet MJ was running late and had to do something to keep from getting in trouble with the judge (who had given him a stern lecture on being on time). Neal then took the cheap shot and said, "Or his nose fell off". :upsidedow

hopes he recovers fast for the resumption of the trial.

He doesn't have to be there, although it's his right to halt the proceedings until he is able to return. If there was an ongoing problem the judge might even encourage the parties to agree to continue with his council as his representative.
