Cheap becomes expensive in the long run.
Moniker is very good. I think eNom is as well, but some aren't fond of eNom. |
I've been using godaddy for over a year now, despite their recent problems. Domains run about $9 on average, pretty cheap.. good usable admin as well.

1&1 is the cheapest i found, but their interface is fucked up.

As long as you aren't mailing anything out, GoDaddy is good. If you do, you'd better be can-spam compliant even if it was totally opt-in.
