Any "ex" Clickcash Webmasters here ?

Just wondering how many of you have actually have tired them, and if you did and you are no longer with them, why ?

sickkittens 02-14-2005 05:21 PM

I used to make alot with them. Ran into problems in the past, though.

Awhile back that is all I ever promoted when I first started out. Did real well, then all of a sudden I'd get tracking issues (signups never being counted, etc.)

What type of traffic do you use to promote them now?

What type of problems.. if it wasn't spam related you shouldn't have any problems....

Tracking issues. They even "fixed" it for me. (This was literally years ago.)

I throw everything at them but emails... as long as you don't generate complaints then you are fine with them...

Signups are being counted. they did have a problem about 1 - 2 years ago where they had a glitch and missed about 50 signups on my account. I didn't even notice.... not really. They contacted me and told me about it and added it to the next check... that right proved to me they are honest..

Why do you think they were not counted ? did you plug in your own card to test ?

Do you work for them or just help out people who signup under you?

I used to get 20-30 signups a day with them then all of a sudden 0. I called and got help (they admitted there was an obvious problem). They were good with me even giving me money for my troubles but even since that happened signsups were way down along w/ conversions.

I can assure you that shit is not happening now, don't know if it ever happened.. he said. she said... i know they are hard on people that generate a lot of complaints... but they still work with you and give you the benefit of the doubt...

If you guys ever want to try them out again, I have direct line with support staff there and have a resource site i built around helping people make money with the program. I also help one on one with any questions you have and I will go through your site and give suggestions on how to make it produce the most signups with their program...

"un"offical clickcash guy here. lol

What's in it for you? I'm assuming you only help those that signup under you?

sickkittens 02-14-2005 05:37 PM

p.s. I just wish I could get as many signups as I once did. When I promoted them back in the day, I got 1:30-1:50ish conversions but only $10 (1st level) a signup.

I've been at it for 4+ years with them and have ignored the referral income. I started my site about 2 months ago, (see sig) and I enjoy helping people. The other thing was my income has been level for years... only so much i can do in a day, and going at it about 80 hours a week as is, so the referal income offered a way for me to expand my income and help people at the same time. I wish i would have thought of it sooner. I also like how i can build a residual income, i help you out get you going and you might go on for years making bank, and making me money too. Right now, I walk away from my opperation and I will be making ZERO in a couple weeks time. SO residual income is a big plus as well. My goal is to make in referral money what i am making now on my own, in a years time, then i can cut back and enjoy some of my life a little more without taking a pay cut.

Wow you are really old school....

Conversion rations dont mean shit really, I look at bottom line. IF you send all your traffic to program A and make 2K a week with a ratio of 1:100 and then you send it to clickcash, same traffic for 1 week, and you make 4K with a 1:300 ratio, who cares ;)

Only thing i use ratios for it to see which of my ads converts better then the others, to compare affiliate program to affiliate program it is like apples and oranges... got to look at bottom line you make.

Veterans... do you email spam or get a lot of heat for your advertising ?

I hear ya. I don't pay too much attention to ratios. I mentioned it because the traffic was targeted so I knew I could make $ w/ CC. If I sent the same traffic elsewhere I probably wouldn't have made much.

I remember awhile back people were claiming to be banned for no reason simply because they were doing so well. It happened in bunches but it's tough to say who was telling the truth and who wasn't.

sickkittens 02-14-2005 05:51 PM

BTW, does CC know you have that site? I remember they asked some people to shut down their site because it had clickcash in the domain.

Ive heard that before. I think clickcash got some heat from a lot of people spamming so they cracked down, gave warnings, and people ignored them.. and a bunch prolly got zapped at the same time when the hammer came down... thats my take on it.. the spammers who get busted are the biggest complainers and will yell the loudest that they were scammed and never tell the real story.

It just doesnt make sense. IF someone is sending in a lot of signups and not getting complaints why would they cancel their account.. what just so they dont have to pay them that week? and give up all the future sales that the person WOULD have sent them... seems way too short sighted.

Yeah we are cool :thumbsup

Their Unofficial or offical, hell i can't remember which but as long as you use the name to promote the program and do it in an honest way, it's cool.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe a large % of those free signups weren't making CC any money.

Cool. Yeah, the site I mentioned basically was (legally) as a group, sending traffic so that they'd have all their signups on one account and then split the earnings afterwards.

Nismo 02-14-2005 06:05 PM

i use to promote them back in 2000-2002. im looking to start promoting them again. hopefully they'll do better than epiccams, HSN & Lars.

TheMob 02-14-2005 06:05 PM

I just started out with CC. I have to sign and fax in the Affiliate Agreement before they send out payments, correct?

I don't even have a fax machine anymore :)

Veterans Day 02-14-2005 06:12 PM

The only mail I send is to friends and family. I have never mailed, but I also dont take chances with Clickcash now that I am doing around 3-4k a week. Just dont want to deal with it. I do know firsthand a few close buddies of mine that were termed, and no they dont mail. Support is another issue, I can icq my current sponsor almost anytime of the day and talk first hand. I dont play email tag with a support rep well.

I used to make pretty decent coin with them untill one day they decided not to pay anymore and wont return mails or anything......still owe me a cuple of 100 bucks.....

WiredGuy 02-14-2005 06:16 PM

Their lack of being able to reply to my simple email inquiries is limiting the amount of joins I'll send to them. If I can't get support when I need it, there's lots of companies that are willing to fill this market gap.

So you mean VOLUME BROKERS ;) yeah that does open up a can of worms... now they dont give any official reponse to sites like that either. They don't endorse them, but at the same time they wont stop you from doing it... except if you get a lot of complaints... which is the same for any account. The VB guys were getting a lot of complaints from what I heard and it was out of control... as it was explained to me the account was eventually shut down because of too many complaints, and they were paid, and some the VB people didn't get paid contacted clickcash, and clickcash identified who they were and still paid them.... this is what i heard, I was not involved with any of this, but was around while it happned.
