ok, I suck at understanding these things, but is it possible to just buy a server and get unlimited bandwith?

I burn through 400 gigs a month and I'd like to do more but I'm kind of restricted.

I'd rather just buy a server, connect it to the net, and be able to serve as many files as I want without having to worry about bandwith charges.

I'd have to buy a t1 line or something to do that, huh?

There is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. Hosting web site is more than just a line to the net and a computer. A T1 will only be able to handle 300 GB/Month (likely less) without slowing down your sites.
