Z06 will be pushing 450 from what I hear.... standard model shown above pushes 400/405 ... I used to own a 2002 Z06, was a monster.


Took a bit, but I grew to like the newer models and WANT ONE :D

BTW, Next yr Z06 is due out... will actually be Z07 if I remember right but it was about 2 months ago I read the article

The new z06 will have a 7.0l v-8 that will produce 500+hp, that's over 75hp/liter
I think that it's a huge improvement form the last one.

The new look is starting to grow on me.

Give them a year or 2 to work out the bugs on the C6 models. The first years of the C5 had some issues (97 and 98).

Its also nice to wait for the after market to catch up as well. Even the Z06 coming out is still underpowered in my opinion. Once the after market super charger developers come up with solid solutions thats when I will jump on one. My friggen 01 Z06 was a guinea pig at first, and I dont want to go through that again.

Trucks are the way to go.... I like to be able to carry more than a 12 pack of beer in my ride.

Most vette guys have trucks as well. At least in my neck of the woods. I put my vette away from Sept.-May and drive my truck all winter.

your so right, every time i see the front end of them at night on the road i think its a ferrari at first.
