I bought poker champion ps2 game last night and now my ps2 is ding this Disk read error shit
i find stuff online how to fix it
telling me to take it apart and shit
F THAT ! ... i put the disc in

disc read error
took it out .. put it back in .. it worked
now i cant get it to play my game at all today

do you the slimline or the reg. ps2?

i just bought the slimline one last month, and the first week i used it, it didnt read my San Andreas game. and sometimes, it freezes in the middle of the game (and i cant save the game) :sadcrying

Was it a brand new PS2? Do other games work?

When was the last time you cleaned the laser? Everyone should clean the laser on all of their CD and DVD items at least once a year.

I had a couple of older machines do that. I ended up tossing them out and getting new ones.

my ps2 just stopped reading all discs, I think the motor went in it. Piece of crap, Im waiting till XBox2 comes out then I'm gonna use my PS2 games for coasters.

apparently there is problems with the new slimline ps2 - they dont read discs properly

so the guy in the store was telling me....

mine werks fine and I never turn the thing off.....

GTA San Andreas is the best game ever for the record hehe
