What is this "Juicy" branding thing?

Honest question

When I think of branding I think of "mindshare"
Example - when asking for a facial tissue most people ask for a kleenex or when asking for a soda most people ask for a Coke

That's branding and leads to a powerful marketshare

What's the Juicy branding thing?

Is it wrigley gum?

Something else?

Thanks for serious replies

Yes, He belives his name is a trademark of sorts if you will.

tungsten 02-13-2005 11:29 AM

Juicy is Branded his name in the adult industry.

So when someone says "Juicy" in the Adult industry

They think of Chat Boards
:2 cents:

sltr 02-13-2005 11:38 AM

the term *brand* is thrown around loosely here.

using a generally accepted def of brand which is a name, term, design, symbol, or any other feature that identifies one seller's good or service as distinct from those of other sellers. The legal term for brand is trademark. A brand may identify one item, a family of items, or all items of that seller.

his name or likeness is not a brand because there is no readily identifiable product or service associated with it

while the juicy likeness may be recognizable, it is not a brand

Juicylinks?
Juicy?
Juicy D. Links?
Guido ®
Emphanger Emil ®
Dolly the Sheep ®
etc...etc...

Seriously, if you're in adult and you hear "juicy", you don't think of wrigley's...unless you have sampled some nether regions of our resident Guido. But that's another thread and other drama entirely

gangbangjoe 02-13-2005 01:38 PM
