I like it better than the new 5 series design.

Currently drive a 2001 X5 and will not be getting another BMW this year because I hate the I Drive system plus shape of the new bmw's.
However if I could get towards the top of the waiting list for the new M5 I would put down a deposit today...

Getting on the list for the new M5 isn't too hard... just go to your dealership. You'll wait a couple of months at the most. Don't believe the hype.....if you want one you can get one.

I hear the 2007 M3 is only coming with SMG...there will be no stick. The SMG is getting very quick, human error will all but be eliminated in the SMG III and they are fixing alot of the power problems.

Not to be technical or an ass but thats not a beemer. The nickname Beemer is in reference to BMW motorcycles. The term that is supposed to be used for the BMW cars is Bimmer. (according to BMW anyways)

And it does look great, the new 645 convertible is hot too. Love that car.

They are nice cars but the 3 series is for young guys and women. If you are man under 24 it's a decent starter car. I had a convertable 3 when I was 21. But if you are in your mid 20's and you are still driving one you need to do some hard thinking about what kind of metrosexual you have become.
