Macs are just cute toys that you can't do any "real" work on.

I'd rather bust out my Amiga than fool with a Mac. |
I moved from Windoes to a Mac 2 years ago and I will never go back. Most of the software I use runs native on the mac and some in virtual pc. Either way the Mac is much more stable, no blue screens, no virus issues excellent support. I recommend the Mac if your software will run on it.
One other benefit is that OS X is Free BSD with an Apple GUI so if you drop to a terminal prompt you are running Unix. |
I bought a Dual Proc G5 and a powerbook the same day on a whim.. 4 months later.. I sold the G5 and kept the powerbook only cause its tiny and my gf likes it... Mac sucks.

blue screens?? hahaha...welcome to 1998 :/
I have 2 macs and 3 pc's...i use each one for their own specific purpose...I do my video editing on pc, music production on pc and mac..and graphic design on pc..... they are both just as good as each other, the both have all the software needed....basically, with as powerful as each is, it just comes down to what you are more comfortable with the ONLY thing i think mac has over pc in the long run is the virus/spyware thing....pc's get bombarded with shit, macs get none as far as stability, that is all the past...the workstation I am on right now runs windows xp professional and it has been up for almost 4 weeks straight with not one crash or one bit of slowdown to it there is no mac or pc is better debate anymore, there can't be...they are both great and it all boils down to what you like better |
oh yeah, hey danny, what ever happened to you with my buddy man....he was out there wanting to hang out and use all your girls man...LOL...you never called him back
|
yo Danny, all I can say is I couldn't create and support FTV if I had a Mac.

Lesson to all.....Prison is bad don't go there :( He would have never been killed if he didn't put himself in that situation, thug life isn't the cool life :thumbsup |
I did this past summer. I love my Macs (4 of them now). I can honestly say that I still keep 3 PCs around because there are some programs that just aren't yet available on Mac.
Also, it's a good idea to see how your sites look for the majority of the world out there. :) |

Pc To Mac
I did it a few years back cause I heard it was a superior machine for video encoding and I unplugged my pc. I forced myself to use the piece of garbage and it was the most painful two months of my webmastering career. I ended up selling the damn thing on crapbay.
Too many steps. For example to do a simple printscreen, I had to make a cheatsheet for....it is literally 4 or 5 keys....retarded. I remember those propaganda commercials too: " I am a Unix Sys Admin but when I get home from work I use a G4"----I almost pissed myself when I saw that commercial. |
I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER GO BACK TO PC'S.

Fuck it always seem like it comes out 50/50 like Jace said it depends what you want. I'm tired of the viruses the crashes having to reboot, it gets fucking tiring.
