FreeBSD CPU Probe
Wassup all ?!?
Does anybody know how to find out, from the command line, what a remote FreeBSD server's CPU speed is?. For some reason I have the feeling that my host is lying to me, and I need to find out what the current CPU speed on my deicated box is. Peace... |
Type 'dmesg' and look for the CPU line. If the output is filled up with garbage reboot the machine and run 'dmesg' right after rebooting it.
