How many ppl have you known that have moved to another country?

Have you ever considered it? Some people move to places like Mexico or some places in Asia where you can live like a king because of the dollar difference.

I think the only place I would ever even consider is the netherlands.

hova 02-12-2005 05:20 AM

They can move to the US and live like kings because of the dollar difference.

I moved from California to the Philippines. I was born here but grew up in the USA. I think it's the best of both worlds, actually. I visit the US at least 3 times a year since many of my family is in the US.

Fletch XXX 02-12-2005 09:53 AM

My comments bother you that much? or are you jealous that California is not at a war with mexico the way you and your arab relatives are?

We are as free as you can be in the US here. No other state is as free.

The marijuana is decriminlized, and we are fighting for things that other countries dream of having.

just pointing out that your governor is in fact a members of bush's party... you could be the most free state, I don't mind that at all...

and no I'm not jealous, and yes, some of your comments bothered me...

Miguelmateos 02-12-2005 10:04 AM

I moved to mexico but not becuase of the dollar for the weather and the free'er Life style and weather but the cost of living is much higher in mexico if you live in a good area and want the traditional luxuries that you get in the united states cloths double the price here jewlery double to triple the price electricity much higher priced telephone most expensive in the world or at least it was they lowered some prices this year still way more expensive the the US Rent can be very low but not in a good area in a good city can be very very expensive food is about the samem price sometime things are more expensive some things are cheaper movie theaters I think are cheaper here like 5 dollars per person workers are cheaper but all luxuries are more expensive sometimes much more expensive cars are more expensive loans are more expensive , if people move here to live like kings they are probably not saving much unless there in some small city with not many real luxuries except natural beauty which there is alot over here ;)

so what Arnold is governor, did i vote for him? nope.

has NOTHING to do with knowing someone move from this country, you just have something against me, and its posts like yours above that outline and illustrate that fact.

you want to move from israel so bad youre picking on others who live in better places.

I don't have a problem with you at all... just with some of the things you've said in the past... there are very few people on gfy who I really dislike and you're not one of them... sometimes I even kinda like you...

it has nothin to do with that, but it has something to do with what you said about california being 'outside of the bush administartion' while the rest of the americans are suffering... that led me to remind you and the rest gfyers that it in fact has a very tight connection with the bush administration...

now that's bullshit... you just don't know me that well...

my point is proven, thank you.

you are stuck on some shit i said about israel in the past and now you quote me and just say dumb things and try to start flames with me like this, for no reason. - other than your problem with things i say (me)

its the past, try to remember that. its like youre stuck on one topic. i dont talk about israel everyday, and when i do , its MY OPINION - so either accept it, or move the fuck on, i dont care.

you proved my point and thats all i needed, keep living in the past.

i didn't try to start any flames bigger then the usual gfy spirit discussions...

and the reason i mentioned that some of your comments about israel bothered me is because you ASKED about it in this very thread...

I wan't looking in this direction at all when I replied in this thread about california's governor...

Guys from the Philippines who use the phrase "the best of both worlds" make me nervous.
