MS Word 97/200 question
 

is there any way/plugin to make MS Word 97 read and/or write in MS Word 2000 file format?

it concerns a company of a friend and getting Office 2000 or XP is an expensive solution since it concerns more than 20 systems. I find it useless to pay some grands Microsoft with no reason. Simple word processing tasks can be done with word 97 easily.

Then get them one cheap computer with MSoffice2000 and a FDD.. put it in an easy accessible place and:
- open the old .doc file
- save as new .doc file
