just got it... for a die hard mortal kombat freak (like me) its fucking dope, finally they got interactive arenas with height differences and even the famous pit we all know of part 1 is back, but you can beat someone in the middle of the fight over the edge in the spikes! Plus some other twistd kind of setups in some arenas, i only played it for like 10 minutes and i already know this game is the fucking bomb!

Have you played that battle chess part of the game yet? It reminds me of that old computer game Archon, but with killer graphics and the Mortal Kombat theme.

no only did a arcade quikie haha... im def gonna check out the other parts of the game this weekend, sounds nice :thumbsup

The "story" mode is actually kind of cool, once you finish it, when you beat arcade with each character you get a different "ending". There's a lot of thought that went into the game. Some cool things to unlock for sure. Definitely worth playing.

I have it on xbox... definitely enjoy it, but find that once I put it away, I don't get back to it for days... I don't know, it just doesn't hold that "must get back to it!" feeling for me.

But it is a lot of fun, no doubt about that.

also played that new metal gear, i was kinda sceptical cuz i had metal gear solid for the ps1 when that hype was going on and at the time i thought it was nothing really special. But the new metal gear is off the hook, a very cool game !
