Woman Sues Over Nipple-snip
 

Three years ago, the Manhattan school secretary and mother went to the chief of plastic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center for a breast reduction.

Feaster just wanted smaller breasts, but the operation went bust and she lost her right nipple.

Feaster, 36, is suing Montefiore and Dr. Berish Strauch ? the doctor who gave Mary Jo Buttafuoco a facelift ? claiming that she was never told she could lose her nipple from the breast-reduction operation.

Nipple loss ? along with loss of sensation and ability to breast-feed ? is "an infrequent yet catastrophic risk" posed by a breast reduction, said Dr. Mark Jewell, president-elect of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

A lawyer for Strauch, a high-profile surgeon, professor and medical writer, declined comment. David Hafetz

Seen some really horrible reductions over the years. Too much to go wrong and I am told that the fat that is removed grows back over a short period of time anyway.
