The NHL can fuck right off!

Go ahead and pull the plug already Bettman. The players are a bunch of winey greedy pricks. Fuck them all. Get replacement players next year and put all the NHLPA out of work for good. :321GFY

Sounds good to me.

There are plenty of talented AHL & ECHL players that would love to make more money.

I dont know about AHL, but I'm friends with a couple of ECHL players and they only make around $22k a year playing hockey.

You can always watch lacrosse.

The NLL All Star game is going to be on NBC then end of February.

I have season tickets to our local teams games right up on the glass. Much more exciting than hockey.

Our AHL games are in Rochester sell out on a regular basis. This hasn't been the case in years...so I'm sure the AHL is loving this.

If they played lacrosse on skates, I bet it would be pretty cool.

Seems like nobody is really missing it much..Both sides have to realize it is only hurting them more in the long run.Thay have struggled to try and get a foot in the door in the US and will have to rebuild a already fickle market..If golf is more popular already they will never surpass its popularity

Wish I could buy some HD recordings of some of last year's games so i'd have something to watch.

Of course, I just went to a game tuesday, and I'm going again tomorrow & saturday, but tonight, theres no hockey :(

Mr Pheer 02-10-2005 09:52 PM

The Premier "AA" Hockey League, the ECHL has affiliations with 23 of the 30 teams in the National Hockey League and 24 of the 28 teams in the American Hockey League. As of February 1, there were 110 players in the ECHL on AHL contracts and 98 players on NHL contracts.

If you have a chance to go to an echl game, you wont be dissapointed. the action on the ice is excellant and just about the only difference from a NHL game is the size of the arena.
