damn good thing we have this thing called "prepaid", i hate bills, especially if i dont really consume it.

I had 2 fuckups. When cell phones first came out and they were like mini briefcases, my gf ran up a 2 grand bill.

Then another plan, i rode across the u.s. and the fuckers charged me roaming fees for every part of the trip off the cell phones regular coverage. So i didnt even use the fucker and got a bill for a few hundred..

Both times they cut the bill by drastic amounts after i complained. The first one i was totally suprised thy cut me any slack as it was just my mistake for giving my cell phone to my girl.

ROAMING.... lol .... Next time, get a local phone, forward yours to it...

When I was with cingular I moved to another state and forgot I had switched to a local plan... I racked up $800 in roaming and long distance... I was pissed and bitched and cancelled my account but they didn't do shit to help me... Matter of fact the day I got their automated e-mail "Your bill is ready to view online" message I also got a call from a collection agency telling me I owed them over $900... It was pretty shitty :)

OUCH... and having been in Mexico recently and using a cell there i would imagine you got crappy reception for your $1400...

I have unlimited minutes ANYTIME, 850mins long distance/month, Fax/voicemail, FREE roaming anywhere on fido's network (and now rogers, for $5/month)

Even if I make an assload of long distance and use the internet on my phone, I never go over $100/month CAD

And fido has way better service than any of the other providers.
