Question about domain and type-in traffic
 

I bought a domain 2 weeks ago, put an index page on it today and added 1 link from a toplist and 1 link from another domain of mine, the thing is that so far today this domain has recived 80 hits from the toplist according to the webstats and the toplist, and about 8 hits from my other domain, but it also says that ive had 109 "direct hits" to the domain, what is that??

common, someone has gotta know why the domain is getting traffic without links on its first day, is it type-ins??

most domains have 0 type in traffic :warning

btw in server stats hits =! uniques

direct traffic = type in traffic maybe even bookmarks, depends on the script

but how can it have bookmarks when its about 8 hours old....?

yea, i know most new domains dont have any type in traffic and its strange if this one has it, but how else to explain the hits when the domain is 8 hours old??
