I bought a DVD Recorder today.....
The dude at Best Buy said that I could only record shit off the T.V. but I know that's bullshit. How do I hook up my regular DVD player to my DVD Recorder so that I can burn movies that I rent? :helpme

Hello anyone one out there :1orglaugh

There may be copy protection in place on the machine. i know that most modern vcrs cannot record anything comming from a Dvd unless you put it through a video mixer first or else all you get is a scrambled picture. Might be the same for the dvd recorder

have you plugged another dvd player into the video input? play and record...why didnt you just buy a DVD burner?

They are all copy protected so that you can't do that.
It's far better to just rip and burn with DVD Decrypter on your PC. |

I want one - and especially a camcorder that goes to dvd - but am holding out a bit longer for the prices to drop just that little bit more.
