Question About NATS

when a program switches to NATS checks can still be sent direct to affiliates from CCBILL?

andrej_NDC 02-09-2005 07:17 PM

Well that sort of sucks.

Ok since many are switching over from ccbill to nats. What are you all doing now?
Running an accounting program and mailing checks yourself?
CCbill still would handle all previous sales correct (as in rebills)?

I seriously need more info.

yes all old rebills ccbill send you checks for... as far as new sales we send the checks/wires/epassporte to you ourselvs... you are able to see excatly what is comming to you via your stats login... we always pay on time and with company checks... IMO your better that way....

there are companies who can send checks for you, for example WTS(achbill), you will give them all details and they will debit the money from your account and send those checks out for a small fee.

In your instance are you deducting for such payment options (wires/epassporte)? Do you add in a processing fee for checks like ccbill already does?

I obviously mean the .37 charge that appears in your statement, not the processing fee.

BradShaw 02-09-2005 09:45 PM

Why not cut your own checks? This is 2005.

we eat the .37 cents for the check stuff... as far as wires we charge 30$ for and epassporte we charge 10$ for... not a bad gig

We will never implement such a feature (letting the biller payout) since it causes too many stats-issues. The only way to do that is to have the stuff be tracked by both NATS and the biller. Now, if you would for example go into ccbill and change someoen percentages there, nats would never know about it and stats would nolonger match up.

Like a bunch of people here said though, there are a lot of companies out there that can cut checks for you.

Because NATS is templated all the way, even the payout dumps are templated so whatever format the companies needs your data in, you can have NATS build it.

interesting - Brad you run a tight ship and have a decent sized bank account so affiliates have nothing to worry about with you cutting the checks. many of the people using NATS are pretty small operators, let's say a divorce happens, a major medical crisis, anything that would be a financial burden on somebody with a small revshare program - much better to be paid by the processor. i'm sure the people who have gone with NATS intend to run things well but.................

honestly guys, you can do your own payouts forget about CCbill. Just do wires or epassporte, don't even have checks as an option, they aren't needed if people can get cheap wires or epassporte no worries. And if your small paypal is still fine too, onl when your big do you get noticed.

Just curious, who does this besides WTS?
