BEST Webmaster Magazine? AVN Online, Klixxx, Xbiz World, etc...
 

What webmaster magazine is everyone reading? I've been reading AVN Online & Klixxx for some time and just subscribed to XBiz World. I've always found them to be good news sources for the industry and usually enjoy the interviews...mainly for entertainment though. What magazine do you read most often?

Xbiz for sure

i like xbiz world because it's like a newspaper

avn- too much ass kissing.. esp when I read about ppl I know to be scum bags who come off as angels.

kilxxx- ok, not as ass kissing as avn

xbiz- havnt seen it yet.. I would like to check it out

i would like to read all 3...AVN sends me their magazine regular like clockwork though

if you are reading to look at ads- AVN
Klixxx offers some great articles as well, and is pretty ad heavy.

I'm glad to see that Xbiz is at the top ...I have an article and ad space in this month and a company profile next month ...check it out ..great mag run by great people .. :thumbsup

I read all of them.

Each one offers its own perspective and flavour.

As to the advertising....since we are each and every one of us sales people, one would think the advertising in all the mags would be informative....Studying ads makes good marketing sense....so you can see what's hot...what you would do or wouldn't do....

I read everything I can get my hands on.... so I REALLY want to know what THIS is... "I read something entirely different that you wish you knew about. " !

I try to read all the them...but I mostly read XBiz and AVN

I read them all ... But only Xbiz sends me the magazine with any consistancy... I have to remind the others...But I do find I only read AVN mostly for the ads

Xbiz is nice but what's the point of reading the 'news' again after 2 weeks?

Our staff loves klixxx, avn seems eh .. average?

I read them all, each one has its strengths...not one alone could satisfy me.

I read AVN and XBIZ. I got a copy of Klixxx at the San Diego show last year and it had an article on my niche which had a ton of factual errors and turned out to have been written by a publicist. I contacted the magazine and the writer about it and the article was discussed on YNOT and Klixxx never responded.

I'll read anything I think will give me solid information about the business I am in. I would ideally like to see industry publications which had journalists write their articles and not publicists. Most publicists are not exactly informative.

I might be biased because SpookyCash's ForrestBlack did a bit of writing for the early issues of AVN Online and I did a bit and we both shot for it.

each one has its strength. I like XBizWorld because I helped build it, I like Klixxx for the indepth articles and I like AVN because they have some great progressive information and I like the direction they are going in.

There...that was nice and p.c. hahahaha

I will also like AdultWebsiteTours Magazine when it comes out but nobody will be reading that for the articles. Hint. hint.

last thing I want in an "news" mag is fucking porn pix... its not like I get enough every fucking day at the office.

Each publication has its strengths and weaknesses, but being as honest and unbiased as I possibly can, I still have to give the thumbs up to XBiz World.

You don't have to worry about having 'fucking porn pix' in your news mag because this publication isn't for you.

It's for the consumer, promoting the online adult sites to the end user. so unless you are an end user....

regardless, it's just about a full book, and glad we made that clarification on who this is really for.
