I just lost all my ICQ contacts on Trilian.. PLS HELP!!
 

I just lost all of my ICQ contacts on my trillian the dam list just disappeared, anyone ever have this problem and is there a way i can get my list back ...

please help :helpme

your list is stored on icq's servers...just go to the web version

thx for the feedback BVF, but in trillian i found out that is stores it on a file called buddies.xml and somehow all my contacts got erased from this file.

AS OF RIGHT NOW IM SOL....

if you use trillian BACKUP UR BUDDIES.XML FILE ... or this might happen to you. I just lost over 500 contacts :mad:

So can't you just reinstall Trillian and have it pull the buddies list off the server?

I keep a separate HD and do a daily backup of my 'Program Files' and "Documents and Settings' dirs, as well as other important dirs. Can't afford to loose shit like that anymore.

GO through icq, not trillian, and your list should be there.

i never installed trillian, i feel something wrong willl happen to my contact list...

no luck... running icq doesnt bring back my list...

I just downloaded it and I lost just one contact for some reason. Why did it have to be my bosses? :disgust

I don't use Trilian at all, but I lost all my list on ICQ one time.. that suck, you can't get it back !

trillian sucks, i remember when i used it, my personal accounts merged with my business accounts... aww what a messed
