A story in my local rag:
"A part time inventor was knocked to the ground when a squirrel landed on his head as he tested a bird feeding hat.
Mike madden, aged 48, was walking through woodland when the grey squirrel saw the nuts on the feeding tray mounted on top of his head.
The squirrel leapt from the top of a tree and landed with such force that Mr. Madden was knocked down and injured his neck.
Mr. Madden, a welder has been taking pain killers and wearing a neck brace since the accident near his home Crackpot Cottage in Honley, near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire.
The bird feeder was destroyed by the force of the squirrel's landing and Mr. Madden said he would not build another."
