Napster - Anyone use it?
I am trying their 30 day free trial and glad I did. I've been downloading songs like a madman...some great work stuff...some old stuff...some even older stuff.
Been really enjoying some old Willie, Waylon, Johnny and Kris along with some Jimmy Scott...some Pearl Jam etc. Been able to try out some groups I wouldn't have bothered buying their CD's to begin with..but kinda like them now. I love how you can download an entire album in under 5 minutes...it's a great service so far when it's pretty much unlimited downloads for $9.95 a month...with the exception of a few songs for 99cents..haven't ran into too many of those to even concern myself with it. |
I used to use them, back when they were cool.

no but I plan too sign up it look like an interesting service

Sitting around waiting for days for a song to download when I can get it pretty much immediately for only $9.95 a month after the free trial IMO is much cooler ;) |
My biggest problem now is trying to think of who else to sample...so many groups out there now and I rarely listen to the radio.

I'd use it but chances are they don't have 90% of the songs that I'd be looking for. I use Soulseek to discover new music and then get actual CDs of music that I like.

I'm still hooked on I-Tunes but Napster does look cool too. To me, if you can't afford $.99 for a song or $9.95 per month then you shouldn't have a fucking computer to begin... Leech.

just remember with napster that if you ever cancel your subscription you lose access to the music.... (ghey)

If I choose to move on and want to keep some songs I'll either purchase and burn the cd or go to the store and buy it. |
Wow napster is back after years on hiatus?
