I need a fast cheap designer
 

I have a guy who does simple designs for me cheap, but he's gone for the next 2 days and I need a simple psd whipped up tonight - I'm willing to pay up to $25 by paypal for this. I was going to post it on a freelancer site, but decided I'll see if anyone on GFY is up to it first. I have a mockup of how the site will look layout wise, all I need is someone to take that shape and make a psd or whatever of it with simple graphics and a simple (cartoonish I'm thinking) logo.

actually a few people contacted me before you posted, they just werent available to do it right away - and this layout pretty much entails a simple logo - most of it is done.

how about making it a little higher for a cartoonish logo? :2 cents:

The words "cheap" "Fast" and "good" often just dont go together

Don't even bother trying to explain it most in this industry...you're just wasting your breath.

Now i'll enter a contest for that much sometimes as it's fun and it's the competition i'm in for but to ask for a design for $25 is a slap in the face
