Reasonable to me is a Sony DSC-P1 Cyber-shot 3.3MP. Nice camera. Small too. SixNine ------------------

Well, it doesn't have to be anything fancy, but it has to take decent pics. They don't have to be extremely high quality photos or anything...and I don't want to spend a lot on it. It won't be any kind of major investment. Make sense? Basically a camera I won't have to worry about if it breaks or gets lost, etc.

Try a Sony, a reasonable one should be 500-800$

the sony D85 is a very high quality camera, 4.1 megapixel, can be gotten for about $600. Or if you want almost the same quality of it, but alot smaller and more portable, the Canon S40 is the way to go, still 4.1megapixel, and can be gotten for $600 as well.
