As already stated, deep throat was the guy who informed Woodward and Bernstein about Watergate. Woodward has said that when deep throat dies, he'll reveal his identity. Let's hope he kicks it soon.

It'd be interesting to know who's sick right now, from that time period. I have my own thoughts as to who it is/was.

As for age/time, I remember when the first TV sets came to Texas. I remember having to "ring up" someone by their particular "ring sequence" on the phone. Everything was a "partyline" then.

I remember when they added "Under God" to the Pledge and pizza first showed up at drive-in theaters (no where else, just drive-ins). I also remember when it was Quimoy and not Tiawan. The Chinese mainland used to shell the shit outta them.
