Won't help me. Because when I import it, I still have to pay all taxes. That makes the cars so expensive here...

Andre, years ago i went to a Ford dealer in Miami, i wanted to check out the prices as well. Convertible, biggest engine, was 27k US. I know the prices simply are pathetic here.

We rented one of those Mustangs for our holiday...awesome car...
I the US everybody and his brother has one but as you know here in Holland nobody drives one.

Rui 02-07-2005 09:10 AM

Sneezy 02-07-2005 10:22 AM

a stang GT starts at $32,795 here in Canada

biskoppen 02-07-2005 10:42 AM

The new mustang costs at least $100k in Denmark

Mr Dickovitch 02-07-2005 11:14 AM

If you get one barely loaded a GT can be bought for under $25k. Go to http://www.edmunds.com to see it's true.

DirkG 02-07-2005 11:33 AM

How much would it cost to have one shipped over there? What kind of fee's would I have to pay to send one to my "vacation home" there and then decide to sell it at a later time?
Add that up and if its less for you to buy the car "used" from me including whatever fees I may incure for shipping and registering, let me know. I can sell you mine for $1000 more than what that all adds up to.
My dad knows a guy who does that for cars in Asia where they have the same kind of problem with high end luxury cars.
So cost of car in US to me + shipping + fees involved for me to register car in as mine in your country + any fees involved to sell the car to you + $1000.
Then you will have a "used" car that will have cost you much less than it would have to import a new one.
You can email me.

Jollyjoe 02-07-2005 11:54 AM

I would get the new pontiac gto instead of the mustang for that price, 400hp stock.

Thanks for the nice offer. But todo this, you need to keep it at least ONE year on your name. Then you can sell it to me, and I have to pay one tear less tax over it. Thanks for the nice offer tho

Ford just rolled out it's new 2005 Mustang, and it's a great car. You can get them in the US for about $27k. This car pushes about 300hp which is great for the price - the first car to have this amount of horsepower for under $30k in a long time.

As for the comments about "Fords breaking down", well, whatever. I've had five Mustangs in the past ten years, and I've never had a problem with any one of them. I honestly believe that the quality of all cars has become much better.

Just for shits and giggles here's a picture of my Mustang. It's a 2004.
