What do you answer when someone ask you what you do for a living (and you work fulltime in the adult business)?
Do you answer the same, when trying to pick up a nice girl at the local bar?

I just tell the truth....

I'm usually honest about it. I won't get into details, I'll only say things like online marketing or development.

If it's a female that I'm attracted to, I'm more likely to say exactly what it is that I do upfront (adult oriented websites). Most seem to be ok with it, and even seem to like the idea. Go figure.

depends on the person who asks....or i say online adult biz, or webdesign and online advertisement...

Internet Marketing as I find if you tell them anything to do with adult they have a million questions that I really can't be bothered to answer.

I tell them I work in the modeling biz......the ADULT modeling biz.

internet sales marketing is the usual choice, but i work elsewhere in mainstream as well.

Depends a bit on whos asking but if it is a girl at the bar I woudl say I do porn. For other (older) people I say internet marketing ;))

i work in advertising or I say some sort of internet marketing.

I'd go with internet marketing.

For the casual asker I just say I do websites and they'll say "cool" or "interesting". For someone digging a little harder as to how money is made I say by matching up advertisers to the target audience of the page. I head off people wanting me to "get them in to it" by telling them they'll have to learn HTML first and build some pages then I'll steer them along or they can come up with their ideas and copy ready text and hire me to do it:upsidedow. If anyone in "general company" wants to know my website address I just send them to one of my mainstream sites:winkwink:

I tell them Internet Marketing and if they dig deeper, i tell them "ringtone sites and such"

I don't mention porn anymore since I'm on the PTO board at my kids' school and I also don't feel like answering a million questions or dealing with requests for free passwords...

we just say web design....
