Water is good if you have a headache. The headache is from dehydration - so water is the best solution.
Vitamin B is the other secret (better if you took it last night or first thing this morning, but it will still help). You will piss bright florescent yellow, but it is worth it. Cigarettes are BAD. Here's what actually works for me... When my head is pounding from a hangover (not often, I'll get to that later), my stomach is usually a bit queasy as well, so I take some frozen concentrated lemonade or pink lemonade, and instead of mixing it with water I mix it with soda water. I take about 3 extra-strength Tylenols or whatever pain killer you like taking, and I down them, then sip the fizzy lemonade. This give you the water, the elecrolytes from the fruit, and the pain relief. Taking a hot bath is an okay idea if that's what you feel like doing, or just lying down for a while longer is fine too, but keep sipping that fizzy juice drink. Then later on when you get hungry, the greasy delivery food is definitely the way to go. I usually need about 100 pieces of KFC, or a nice 2 for 1 extra large pizza with spicey Italian sausage on it. I haven't been hung over like you're discribing for some time now though, mainly because I don't power-drink that much any more. But when I do, I always do 2 things to ward off the hangover..... Eat some food before you go drinking. Drinking on an empty stomach is suicide. And After you're done drinking and you're ready to hit the sheets, go to the kitchen, take an aspirin or tylenol, and down it with a big glass of water. THEN go to bed, and in the morning you'll feel a lot better than you would otherwise, and you'll enjoy your good-morning boink a lot more without a pounding headache too (if you have a g/f or some chick with you that is).
