Here's a big hug, you need one right now. I know it is a lot of money to lose. But it has happened to me before. I got drunk off the FREE, ha, nothing free about those drinks. Lost about the same amount as you. Cried for a bit, whined for a bit more. Then finally that money just left my mind like it left my hand. Nothing you can do now, just let it go. :2 cents:

i've always walked away from casinos with 200 to 400 profit... but i know when to stop and only walk in with $200... not much of a high roller (nor anywhere even close to a medium roller) but i can't complain with my winnings...
best was when i walked away from k-mart with $500 winnings, but that's another story... |
Self-control is no fun at the casino (unless you're winning.. then it's not so bad).
If you're going to take the free drinks, bring only the cash you can afford to lose, leave the credit cards and debit cards in your hotel room (preferably across town). :) In fact, that's a good idea even if you're not drinking. Condolences on the $7k. |

I did try a few times and threw a few K out - but wondered WTF I was wasting time at tables and slots for:-) In the end, I thought, screw this - If I'm going to throw money away - it's not hard to find folks who seriously *really* need some money - I'd prefer to give it to them and help em! |
