Outlook Question

Is it posible to make multiple inbox folders for new accounts that you set up? I realize I can create folders and set rules but is it possible to create 4 seperate inboxes for 4 seperate pop accounts?

TIA :thumbsup

Well, You have the standard Inbox... in the "root"-directory together with the Outbox & Sent yadayada..

I don't think You can have additional custom folder in that root-directory but You can always use new folders "under"/inside the Inbox.
Say like "Inbox -> Domain1-Inbox, Domain2-Inbox, POP-account@ISP, bla-bla..."

This is what I have and it works excellent :)

Not that I know of. I just to sub boxes under that and set rules to each.

I actually did this once.... but it was quite by accident, and I don't remember how I did it!

You can do it 3 ways

1) create new inboxes for each account
2) just create different account and have them all in the same box
3) create different profiles in Outlook

You're probably better off switching to IMAP and using the folders on the server. I use Outlook 2k3 with 4 different accounts on different servers and they all have their own Inboxes. I'm not sure if you can do it with POP3.

I am not familiar with IMAP...is this something my hosting guys can setup on my server? My goal is to have 4 or more as I add them seperate accounts but be able to access them in outlook at the same time. I want them going down in order. inbox 1 and subfolders then inbox 2 for next domain etc.

TIA

Yes, thats exactly how I have it. Its a nice tree view that I just collapse and expand as necessary. Your hosting company should be able to hook you up with IMAP.
