If your in canada and use CCBill... do you pay tax in states and canada?

since you can't accept visa if your in canada with ccbill.... you get incorporated in the states....

does that mean you pay tax in the states AND in canada???

any tips for something going about this?

If you are incorporated in the States, I would assume you would have to pay U.S. corporate income tax. Do you transfer the money up to Canada though? That is where it might get tricky and you may have to pay Canadian tax.
My understanding is U.S tax rates are lower so it might be better to keep the income in the U.S.
Your best bet is to talk to a good Canadian Tax accountant and get some professional advise.

Did you hunt down something for my new fur coat like you said you would?

sonofsam 02-05-2005 02:15 PM

yeah turbo... do you want the coat out of raccoons or lemur's ? :)

thanks for the advice sarah

Depends where you incorporate. Some states don't charge taxes

gecko 02-05-2005 02:31 PM

Instead theres like an annual fee. If you have a US bank and you transfer to your Canadian bank then you have to file it. To CRA

with CCBill i dont need to have a US bank though do i? i cant just get it directly to my bank account?

Your Canadian company will invoice the US company for 100% of revenue. Thus no US taxes to pay, although you will need to file

This is a subject you really should consult with an accountant, regardless of what is posted here.
