Any of you metal heads hear this band called "Otep"?
 

I saw them at Ozzfest a couple years back and I just came across some of their music on Rhapsody. Its a chick singer, and I have to say that this is probably the first band with a chick singer that I actually like. This girl is crazy. She screams like a man. When I first heard them it took me 20 minutes to decide whether or not it was a woman.

Otep I must admit is on the scale of Kittie, although fans of Kittie and Otep seem to have bloodlust for each other =/ BLOOOOOOOD PIGSSSSSS.

Funniest thing is there is a man who does some backing vocals for some songs, but the girl has a more powerful voice... I'm guessing she has larger balls ^^'

Although I do prefer Killswitch Engage over Kittie and Otep I would go see em in concert, maybe they'll do Download Festival 2005 this year. Yeah!

I've been listening to Killswitch Engage quite a bit this week. I think they sound a lot like Shadows Fall, or maybe its the other way around. Either way, I like them both.

Haven't heard much Kittie but what I did hear I wasn't crazy about, maybe I'll check them out again.

Saw KSE in concert on the 23rd they were fucking excellent.
Kittie - Brackish is probably the best song Kitte has, apart from that it's generic repeatition, which in some cases is good but not when you want some good heavy headbanging mosh metal.

Guess there aren't many metal heads on the board this morning :(

Otep isn't bad, but for female singers I much prefer Lacuna Coil. She's fuckin hot and the music ain't bad either.

I personally don't like bands with chicks for singers very much.... Otep isn't bad but I prefer Hanzel Und Gretyl if I have to listen to something with a chick in it....

The Black Daliah Murder is awesome... they have been touring with As I Lay Dying which is also amazing....

What is even funnier is the fact that TBDM is more or less a satinc band where as AILD is a christian band.... go figure
