a little keyboard cleaning tip

i know some of you guys know this, but for those who dont, here's a little tip..

if you ever spill any liquid on your keyboard, do not try and wipe it up, the liquid will just fall further into the keys and possibly short out your keyboard

instead, unplug it IMMEDIATELY, and unless it was water you spilled, go set the keyboard in the bathtub, and give it a good rinse.. let it dry out for at least a day, make sure its completely dry before plugging it back in

better yet, fill a paddling pool with water and toss the keyboard in there... while your at it put the monitor and maybe the computer itself in for a clean

Rule #1 in my house - no drinking near the keyboards! Of course, most of my work is done on a laptop so I'd be totally hosed if I spilled something on it :(

Speaking of cleaning computer stuff - don't you wish YOU had come up with the idea of air in a can?

I still find that so completely insane it's depressing. Air in a can...Oxygen bars...yeesh.

But yes, I do wish I had come up with it. :Oh crap
