thats way too much, I have a dlp projector with a 106" screen that probably looks better and only cost a fraction of that
I bet it weighs 400 pounds
42 inch plasma's were 20k-30k+ not so long ago.
I prefer LCD myself.
a lot of money but it is beautiful
Anybody who buys that TV with a net worth of less than 1-2 million is a tard :2 cents:
My niece and her husband baught a 42 inch plasma for her bedroom. Once they got it home they said, "Gee! It didn't look that big at the department store"

The $50,000 price tag is most likely a marketing strategy. To draw attention to LG and get their brand more well known. A 72" plasma doesn't cost that much more than a 42" plasma. I'm pretty happy with my 42" right now, it's quite big!
hot stuff
nice tv buddy
Its surely going to take awhile before these become even-semi-mainstream lol
71" !!!! That's fuckin' LARGE !

That's HUGE. But wouldn't 1920x1080 resolution be pretty crappy?

now that's sexy

Coincidentaly, we just got home form getting a new plasma.
It's an HDTV LG 42" for a little bit over 3000 Euros, which was alright. But the salesman was trying to push on us the 60" for over 8000 Euros and I honestly could not see see much of difference in the quality of the image. In fact I told him that in my opinion ours looked better. LOL. He kept talking about specs and numbers, but bottom line, I do not think 12" are worth 6000 euros more. It would be interesting to see how much better the $50,000 TV image looks when compared to a standard HDTV Plasma. |
