Steen2 02-04-2005 04:21 PM

42 inch plasma's were 20k-30k+ not so long ago.

DerekT 02-04-2005 08:47 PM

I prefer LCD myself.

xclusive 02-04-2005 08:48 PM

xNetworx 02-04-2005 09:14 PM

Anybody who buys that TV with a net worth of less than 1-2 million is a tard :2 cents:

Love Brokers 02-04-2005 10:45 PM

My niece and her husband baught a 42 inch plasma for her bedroom. Once they got it home they said, "Gee! It didn't look that big at the department store"

What projector? I am looking into getting one myself.

ssp 02-05-2005 05:46 AM

The $50,000 price tag is most likely a marketing strategy. To draw attention to LG and get their brand more well known. A 72" plasma doesn't cost that much more than a 42" plasma. I'm pretty happy with my 42" right now, it's quite big!

Kicker 02-05-2005 07:37 AM

hot stuff

gangbangjoe 02-05-2005 07:41 AM

nice tv buddy

Rui 02-05-2005 10:27 AM

Basic_man 02-05-2005 10:33 AM

swedguy 02-05-2005 10:39 AM

That's HUGE. But wouldn't 1920x1080 resolution be pretty crappy?

Praguer 02-05-2005 11:46 AM

Coincidentaly, we just got home form getting a new plasma.

It's an HDTV LG 42" for a little bit over 3000 Euros, which was alright.

But the salesman was trying to push on us the 60" for over 8000 Euros and I honestly could not see see much of difference in the quality of the image. In fact I told him that in my opinion ours looked better. LOL.

He kept talking about specs and numbers, but bottom line, I do not think 12" are worth 6000 euros more.

It would be interesting to see how much better the $50,000 TV image looks when compared to a standard HDTV Plasma.
