Ok... this is it... finally got the call that my interview is going to run on 20/20 tonight.

Will my sound bites have teeth?

Is the camera on my good side?

Does all my best material end up on the cutting room floor?

These are just a few of the questions people would like to know. Tune in tonight and find out for yourself!

did they allow you to preview how they edited your interview?

No. I have done plenty of interviews and that is really never an option. If they gave any sort of editorial privilege to folks like myself they would be asking for trouble. I would want them to turn the show into an hour long commercial for Homegrown Video.

In lieu of that I just try to give the best picture of what we do possible and try not to say anything that can be hacked into making me look like a bigger fool that I already am...

normally i know they do not allow but i knew a female that did a 20/20 interview and because of the subject at hand (camgirl etc) and that in a prior interview they did lots of tricky editing so it was part of the agreement that she would get to see after it was produced before it aired.. etc..

Well, they originally interviewed me when the Paris story broke. In fact they taped me and KB at our warehouse in San Diego... only I never got used in that piece. They said that I would be used eventually because they liked the interview... so I really have no idea what tonight's theme is except that it is going to feature ME ME ME at some point.

You sound like an old pro at this, so it probably goes without saying, but you should warn your host and your processing company to expect a surge tonight, and do what they can to keep up! You don't want to wait an hour while they call in their melted-server guru to try and fix things. :)
