LOL I think I get what you're saying. But besides crossover traffic, lower traffic / highly filtered traffic usually generates decent conversions specially if the presentation is content rich and context deep.

I made damn good money about 5 years ago sellign the "House of Morecock" toon plugin. Small market but one that is willing to pay well for quality.
