Do you enjoy the nice flash and creative info in the flash on affiliate program sites? Does it bother you? Or you rather not see and it really bothers you? Please be honest and serious...

Flash is cool, but it can slowdown some low-end computers...
I recommend a Flash and a HTML version

Check out the flash on our main page.

Doesn't fully load unless you click the button.

Try it out!

very subtle flash is the way to go, don't overdo it at all...

my personal preference is when companies (mainstream and adult) work the flash into their pages in a way that isn't intrusive or flashy (no pun intended)....an even amount of flash and html to the point where it looks so sweet, but doesn't take a year to load if you have a slower connection

I love when people use flash sporadically (sp?) throught the page and not just one one header or graphic....but if you use it like that it must be an even amount or make the page balanced with the flash and html

personally, i think for your target audience and for what you are trying to accomplish, it is done very well

the only thing I don't like is how big the "start living the good life" banner is

and the top banner with the logo and login boxes is a little tall...

basically i would have shortened those two so the part with 100 sites was more viewable upon load

overall I love it though

I don't like flash sites with "boinks", "chirps" and "clicks" and other noises. No noise please.

i'm not a big fan of flash, but it's well done on your site. the only thing i don't like is the overlay ad in the corner.

Mefo 02-04-2005 01:12 AM

some people overkill it, especially those annoying flash overlays

Abyss_Vee 02-04-2005 02:56 AM

i personaly think,, the simpler it is,, the better

shima 02-04-2005 03:07 AM

Raffi, it surely attracts more attention, and gives your site a nice bling-bling feel.
Thats is what you are after, right?

theFeTiShLaDy 02-04-2005 03:32 AM

flash is cool and can make the site stand out but sometimes it's the cause of slow loading.

Rui 02-04-2005 03:36 AM

An example of a total flash overkill is PlatinumBucks, I have Adblock on my primary work computer and to just read the site basic info I need to enable +4 different flash movies...

Good examples of how can a site look good without shitloads of flash is:Gigacash & ARS sites...

flash can be very annoying when you dont care for it.

ChewbaCreative 02-04-2005 12:48 PM

i like good attractive flash, but huge sizes sometimes scarred me
