Trillian vs. Gaim - Which is better?
 

I just started using Gaim the other day.. it's pretty cool, has it's pros and cons.

I used to use trillian but it jacked up my contact list at one point.. switched all the contact names to UINs, I could switch them back, but they would return to UINs each time I rebooted.

So which should I use, Gaim or the newest update of Trillian?

Never heard of Gaim, but Trillian Pro 3.0 works like a charm for me.

any of u guys have problems with Trillian when trying to add new ICQ people ?

I'd like to know your experiences with this too..

once I figured out I NEEDED to do a fucking clean install of Trillian Pro 3.0 it was/is great....prior to that I think I was annoying the piss out of have my contact list with daily re-auth requests that were being auto-sent LOL

I started using the newest version of trillian standard and it has been great :thumbsup

I've had no probs with trillian.

Used Trillian for years 100% problem free.
