at the bottom of your tgp/webpage/even galleries, put a link to your blog (wowzor.com/?YOURUSERNAME) with some catch text like "Check out my personal collection of my favorite websites!" or something along those lines - this will start catching people's attention and will also help out even more in the search engine game!

If you want to run your own blog software on your own domain, go to http://www.opensourcecms.com/ and test drive them for free. The ones I like are Serendepity and TextPattern. Wordpress also looks good, but there's no seperate template system with it.
