WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. ? In an attempt to take a stand against ?what iBill has done? to the online community, Cybersocket co-owner Morgan Sommer has filed two legal claims against the third-party processor over nonpayment of advertising. Full story...

It's a small claims action. Ibill won't show and they will win by default but they will have no chance of collecting anything.

Or Ibill may just pay the bill, who knows.

However it is a first precedent as far as I know...

Sure ain't the first - there have been a number of filings made since October 2004. I've not looked thru all of em (there are items not related to the current of iBill situation as well), but read enough to see a track record.

It is surprising that investors in PHSL/IBD/iBill are so interested in this stock. And also funny to see any "press statement" they issue is grasped and absorbed as being truth. PHSL are almost painting iBill as some rock solid biz :winkwink:

The underlying problem is PHSL - a defuct corp with great plans all over, including a Mexican resort complex. Then we have the famous "Doctor" Luis owning almost half of IBD. Sheesh, this is one incestuous operation! :1orglaugh

The claims, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court?s Small Claims division, total $10,000 and are for back payment for two months of advertising.
This is just a non-payment for advertising, I'd be interested in seeing a suit filed for non-payment of their reserves/holdbacks.

You you think there is any chance for that?

Sure is, but some things may supercede that.

Odd thoughts... iBill have breached any contract with their clients. There are no contracts.

The exercise now is in debt recovery. That naturally would include *all* funds owning plus interest, and, depending whether ya get there quick enough, damages.

Anything can happen now - including possible criminal action.
