Canadian webmasters, how should my revenue be declared?
I do not own a paysite, so basically all the money I make is off sales to sponsors.
Now, last year, I declared that income as "comission" and the province of Quebec charges a high % on "foreign comission". What should I classify my revenue as? Is comission the right way to go? Or should I just say I am an affiliate or "contractual" employee of the sponsor? |
get a CA

Get an accountant and make sure you keep a lot of receipts. Accountants are wonderful people, they help keep your taxes lower.
