Canadian webmasters, how should my revenue be declared?

I do not own a paysite, so basically all the money I make is off sales to sponsors.

Now, last year, I declared that income as "comission" and the province of Quebec charges a high % on "foreign comission".

What should I classify my revenue as? Is comission the right way to go? Or should I just say I am an affiliate or "contractual" employee of the sponsor?

Get an accountant and make sure you keep a lot of receipts. Accountants are wonderful people, they help keep your taxes lower.

yeah I got one last year. I feel they sucked. I will look into getting an accountant that has more knowledge about e-business.

WG, do you know of any firms that have good accountants working in Ottawa that deal with e-business or online adult?

No idea about the Ottawa area. I met mine through the alumni registry at my university and know of a few within the local entrepreneurs associations in town here.
